To All,

I know my new NC does not have an email client as yet and January is not all that far off (updated firmware and apps store).

However, I can easily access my email via the browser and going to verizon.net. Once there I can log in and check my email but I cannot send an original or reply.

Called Verizon and they do not feel it is their issue and referred me to Verizon Wireless as they consider the NC to be more of a "smartphone" rather than a "laptop".

I do not want to create another email identity via another client so is there some type of workaround?

Do they have a phone webmail interface? most do. I'd try m.verizon.com and see if you can get email there. Otherwise setup a gmail account. You can pull from verizon and send as from your verizon email. Would just be another client.

Many, many thanks!

"m.verizon.com" did the trick which fits in with some of the identifcation issues regarding the Nook Color I have read about. Cannot understand why Verizon Fios tech support did not suggest this yesterday rather than dumping me off onto Verizon Wireless!

Now, if they will just come up with a simple and easily accessible notepad app in January along with a small human finger stylus replicant I will be all set.

My finger tips are far too large unless I constantly use the "+/-" in the lower right of the screen. I can easily use the keyboard but most clickable items on a webpage are a problem unless I expand them significantly.

I appreciate you quick and useful response!

To All,

Answered my own "stylus" question.

These do not appear under the Nook Color Accessories on the B& N page as yet but this site is linked from it.

I ordered one from them and also picked up a Targus "Stylus for Apple iPad" at Best Buy this AM.

It works like a charm on the Nook Color for those with larger fingetips and/or fingernails.

Definitely recommend a stylus from either source.
