TOPIC: How do you eject?

How do you eject? 4 Years, 8 Months ago Karma: 0
Okay, so obviously I'm a total newb to Nook. I got a Simple Touch a couple of weeks ago, and I read that if you don't eject, something could happen, or you could damage your Nook. How the heck do you eject, and WHEN do you eject?

When you connect it to your computer to transfer books, if you do that, when you are done you should use "eject" feature on your file tool before unplugging it. Are you connecting to the computer and what type?

I've bought a couple of books on the Nook itself, but got one online. I didn't use the eject when I did it. The book however, is in my Nook. I don't see an eject feature anywhere. I was hooked up to my HP Pavilion when I bought the book. Where is the eject feature?

You don't need to use the "eject" feature. Just turn off the Nook completely, and then pull the plug.

Reliable way to Root Nook Simple Touch
I recently dusted off the Nook Simple Touch and decided to try some of the root options, mostly to get the Kindle app working. I was amazed at the volume of YouTube videos and XDA Forum threads as well as root options
