TOPIC: getting non B&N magazine onto Nook

getting non B&N magazine onto Nook 4 Years, 10 Months ago Karma: 0
I have just recently purchased a Nook HD. I am trying to put all of my paper magazines onto my Nook instead of getting them in the mail. It seems that the only way to easily get a magazine to pop-up automatically on my Nook is to buy throught B&N. I am now having trouble because my manufacturing magazine isn't offered through the e-B&N store. From what I understand, I'll have to download it off of itunes, convert it to the proper Nook format, put it on my computer, and then drag the magazine from my computer to my Nook every month to get the new issue. Any ideas to make it easier??

Read them on paper?

So it depends on the format. TheNook will read a lot of formats, what is the format? If it's only available in iTunes I wonder if it is something you could even convert. Some things I subscribe to I get PDF which I can easily read on the nook.

If it's a hassle you'll enjoy the paper version more. The advantage of the iPad is it isn't locked to a provider like Kindle or Nook and they have the biggest marketplace, we nooks have the smallest but cheapest best device for the dollar.

Reliable way to Root Nook Simple Touch
I recently dusted off the Nook Simple Touch and decided to try some of the root options, mostly to get the Kindle app working. I was amazed at the volume of YouTube videos and XDA Forum threads as well as root options
