For those who have the M-edge eluminator booklight (e.g., Knick Knack), which I have ordered but not received yet:

How is it holding up? On the Amazon customer review page there are a lot of complaints about build quality, especially for the switch and the flexible neck.

I'm planning on making my own cover once I get the booklight. I'll take pics and share. My plan is to hollow out a leather journal and tailor it for the M-edge booklight.

Do you like this one?

The Amazon review said, "This is marketed as a light for a NOOK, however, it is really a music stand light and is MUCH too large to be useful as a NOOK light! I suppose it will shine light on your NOOK, but its dramatically oversized to be such! Very deceitful marketing, IMO! "

Good news: Requires 3 x AAA batteries (Not Included)These are cheap easily replaced batteries and can be bought as rechargeable. Going to add some weight though.

Not dimmable?

My wife loves her e-Luminator. She bought a cover ffrom another company so there is no sleeve for the light. She slipped the tab underneath her nook and it stays in just fine. In fact, she keeps the light in the cover all the time.

As mentioned earlier, it has two lighting positions but as the person sleeping next to her, I can tell you the light works great in a dark room. Long before she had the Nook, she kept me awake reading all night. All of her book lights splashed light everywhere. I like the e-luminator because it shines on the Nook screen and nowhere else. She says she does not have to adjust it halfway through a page.
