Internet USB Stick 6 Years, 7 Months ago Karma: 0
I am a Basketball Coach in Germany for 11 out of 12 Months. I am often in areas where there are no free Internet Hot-Spots (including Airports)... I have a USB-Web& Walk Stick from T-Mobile. Can I connect it to my Nook? I assume with an for smaller Nook USB Port! ... Thanks for any help... Ritz Ingram

Hello,
Nope, and I think you mean wireless adapters. In order for each computer to connect to a router wirelessy, they both need their own adapters.

Thanks for well-intended responses.... it appears that there is no solution to my problem. .. @Marshal .. No, I mean USB-Internet-Stick ... It allows direct access to the Internet and is not dependent on a W-Fi Connection ...Used a great deal in Germany and throughout Europe... Not so wide-spread in the USA. Thanks anyway.

I really wish these would get more popular in Canada. I would love to have one, but I find them expensive, and the maximum bandwidth cap is very low, which if you do any type of downloading means you need to have internet at home as well as an internet stick.

Have you considered purchasing a MiFi unit (www.novatelwireless.com/)? I use one regularly with my Nook and really find it useful. I'm not sure if it is available for T-Mobile however, in Europe they do sell a generic, unlocked version. CradlePoint also makes a similar device (www.cradlepoint.com/) which may be useful.

I'm not familiar with the Internet USB Stick, are the SIM Cards accessible? Because both the MiFi and CradlePoint would require a SIM Card.

Good luck!

Reliable way to Root Nook Simple Touch
I recently dusted off the Nook Simple Touch and decided to try some of the root options, mostly to get the Kindle app working. I was amazed at the volume of YouTube videos and XDA Forum threads as well as root options
