Nook Color 1.1 serial 2010 model bnrv200 SD root 3 Years ago Karma: 0
I just got the Nook Color and would like to root to the SD card before I decide to fully root. Want to make sure I am not having any problems with the Nook before I fully root.

I have Froyo on my cell phone so would like to install that version or a stable version of higher other versions if possible.

Where can I find the simple full directions for both the install and information I need for formatting the card correctly. Want to make sure I don't have any problems and it seems there are different directions all over the Internet.

Was hopeful that someone on this board has the latest information.

I have a 16mb class 10 card.

Thanks for the help!

Ummm... I wouldn't call B&N about your questions on rooting with your SD card!!!!

Checkout the nook color portal page on nookdevs.com

The card is a micro card. I don't know if I should be reformatting the card. I guess that is what I am trying to find out what I must do.

those the mirco card has files on it? because that micro card that you wil out in the nook. will be a back-up memory to your nook device if you run-out a memory on the nook device, and you can also put in music in MP3 format, publice library books, and EPUD books as well as PDF file on that micro SD, and the nook will recognize those file on your micro SD.
