I was told it came with 3 free books.
On my home page I have the elephant book. I have used this one, cute and my kids like it.
Then, there is a Richard Scarry one, but it says download for $2.99??? Whaaa?

Then there is only a user guide and another guide? Am I missing something here?
Thank you!!

I don't think you'll get them if you don't register the nookcolor ... I guess I had 2 of the kid books, not more than that. You don't get a bunch of free books with the nookColor, you have to buy them.

Reliable way to Root Nook Simple Touch
I recently dusted off the Nook Simple Touch and decided to try some of the root options, mostly to get the Kindle app working. I was amazed at the volume of YouTube videos and XDA Forum threads as well as root options
