TOPIC: Downloading books from B&N Nook Library

Downloading books from B&N Nook Library 5 Years, 7 Months ago Karma: 0
I have, recently, had some problems with my Nook 1st edition. I, once again, have to download my Nook Library books to my Nook. Is there a simple way to download all my books at once or do I have to keep downloading them one by one. I have a few hundred books on my Nook Library.

Thanks,

Dick

Are you talking about ones that you purchased from B&N.com? Those should just automatically come back to your Nook via Wi-Fi (which needs to be enabled). You just need to click on 'My B&N Library' and 'Check for new content' and wait for the magic to happen.

Now if you mean sideloaded books, those in 'My Documents', then yes, you have to manually add those back again.

Thanks, I thought that should happen but I was having trouble with that using version 1.6.0 so I downloaded each of them individually. But I lost them when the tech got me back to ver. 1.4.3. Ver. 1.5.0 was automatically downloaded to my Nook this morning and I got all my B&N books by using the check for new items.

The side-loaded books were easy, once my Nook recognized my card. I had them all in a file on my external drive and just hit select all and drag and drop to my SD card.

Thanks.

Reliable way to Root Nook Simple Touch
I recently dusted off the Nook Simple Touch and decided to try some of the root options, mostly to get the Kindle app working. I was amazed at the volume of YouTube videos and XDA Forum threads as well as root options
