my screen on the Nook color went crazy and ended up in the password section. now i cannot open my nook because i don't know the password. what can i do?

Ummm... you accidentally set the password? now you sound like one of my kids

But seriously I think all you can do is a reset of the nook device to factory settings. nookdevs has the hokey instructions here:
nookdevs.com/Flash_back_to_clean_stock_ROM

thanks, i was hoping there would be another solution. i really did NOT set the password. just consider yourself lucky if your Nook has never gone crazy. i didn't even touch the nook and it went completely nuts. all over the place. it has happened before but the bad luck w/ the password is a first.
