Is there a way to get a PDF I have downloaded onto my Nook? ADE will open it up, but I can not drag it onto my Nook.

Sure. Download a copy of Calibre. It's a terrific free e-book organizational tool that allows you to (among many other things), convert pdf file to epub format.

The poster asked how to get it onto the Nook, not what to do with it once it is there.

Can you go back to the site while on the Nook and download it directly?

My apologies for not being clearer in my previous post....

I use Calibre to TRANSFER my files onto the Nook, because Adobe Digital Editions (ADE) so often freezes up on me, and won't permit transfer (or it goes into its infuriating error loop, telling me that I've not permission, when in fact, it's my e-book and my Nook).

I also use Calibre to convert PDFs to EPUB format. In my experience, PDF text is not easily resized, and without that resizing ability on my Nook, the PDF text comes across miniscule.

Calibre is touted as a wonderful organizational tool. Though I've not yet used it for that purpose, I intend to give it a shot, sometime soon.

Good luck to you, and here's hoping you thoroughly enjoy that Nook!

Ahh... now I understand. Thanks for the clarification. So many apps, so little time......
