My nook tablet just had similar issues. Since my tablet is still under warranty, I called them. They are sending me a new free charger. It seems they believe the charger is the issue. If the charger does not make a difference, they will send me a new nook tablet. I will let you know. I did read online that someone cleaned the contacts on their nook ereader and the nook started to charge. I have no idea how that works. Why don't you bring in your nook to Barnes and Noble and have them try to charge your nook with one of their chargers? Good luck. I know I miss not being able to use my nook tablet!
