TOPIC: nook, ADE, and my computer

nook, ADE, and my computer 2 Years, 4 Months ago Karma: 0
Hi, I have a question regarding Nook, ADE, and my computer. I have several books in my Nook's library that now that I've skimmed them, I'm not interesting in reading them at all. Unfortunately, I plugged my Nook into my computer before deleting the books from my Nook, so they showed up in ADE. I managed to delete them from ADE, but I read that they are still saved to my computer somewhere. I would really like to completely delete them from my computer, too, because I don't want to clutter it up and take up space since I share the computer. Any ideas? Thanks.

I assume you're using Windows, I'm on a Mac, but the files may be in a similar location. On my Mac, ADE created a folder in my Documents named "Digital Editions" and puts copies of the books there. If so, you can delete the contents and keep the Digital Editions folder.

I have successfully downloaded Adobe to my computer, Vista OS. Then I brought a book down successfully. However Adobe does not list the Nook as a device. My computer does and says it is ready. I can't drag a book to the USB drive.

It has to go onto the Nook using ADE. Have you authorized the Nook?

You're welcome, ADE is not very user friendly!
