Hi, I have just purchased the nook reader but cannot get it connected to wifi. I'm using a 3 mobile dongle....any suggestions will be greatfully received. My laptop's OS is Windows 7.

Are you creating a wifi hotspot with your dongle - or ad hoc network? How are you trying to connect the nook? (what nook is it too)

Hi, it's the nook simple touch ereader. It gives me options of networks one of them is HadeelHassan which has a locked symbol at the side. Problem is I don't know the password for this. Would I be better to purchase a Mifi dongle, do you think this would resolve the problem? Thanks for help.

I think the two options are setting up an "ad-hoc" network for the nook to connect to that bridges to your cellular dongle or use a dongle that does the Mifi thing (which as I understand it creates a hotspot). I think using the mifi dongle would be easier but not an expert at those devices. Bottom line is your nook needs a wifi network to connect to and the PC using a cellular connection isn't enough.
